Lily Sarosi (she/they) is a filmmaker, media educator, and film archivist originally from Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Hampshire College with a BA in critical media studies and filmmaking. Her films explore themes of monstrosity, heartbreak, and grieving. Collaboration is at the heart of her artistic practice as a way to make resistant media. She enjoys working with children of all ages and empowering them to tell their stories through filmmaking. Lily provides a unique mix of theory, practice, and pedagogy to her classes because of her diverse engagements with cinema.
