Celebrating a New Mural!

Painting Non Profit Mural Arts in Education Red Hook Unveiling School Education Brooklyn Arts Children Artist Teaching Teaching Artist CWPNYC

Students in the 3rd and 4th grade at a Brooklyn CWP Residency celebrated the unveiling of a mural painted the previous year's 3rd grade students. Each student had a hand in painting the mural, which now hangs in the entry way of thier school.

The current 3rd graders will soon begin to paint their own class murals with Felipe Galindo, their CWP Teaching Artist and Muralist. Each class will come up with  mural line as a group and help design the mural based on the themes of their residency.
