The kindergarten and 1st grade students at PS 132 wrote songs with the help of teaching artist Heidi Siegell. The central questions that guided their work were, “How can we use nature to provoke embodied and lyrical responses? How can we work together to create an anthology of our poems and a short dance piece we can share?” The students offered their own ideas for the songs, which are all about planting seeds.
